I'm actually quite curious to as where else you've seen this post verbatim on another forum. To be honest I think that you're writing out of your ass but then again I may be wrong...

Yup, you're wrong. It's obvious who's talking out their ass. Click, dick.

$ rm planet/usa/*.bush $ tar -c planet/* | gzip -9 > /mnt/backup/planet-June-07.tgz Seriously, though, I thought the problem was that wealthy governments, or corporations, were buying up the rainforest? It's actually surprisingly reasonably priced, and even the shipping is cheap once you chop / chip / pulp it.A neat way to save the world, I think, is to develop an appreciation that the world is essentially safe from us. We can't readily destroy it, just make it uninhabitable for ourselves. Which would serve us right ultimately. In the longer term, the only way to save it would be to tow it out of the way of the large foreign object expected to hit it in about 100,000 years (or whatever the incoming big rock countdown is supposed to be these days), ideally far enough out not to be swallowed by the sun. I guess the point I'm making is that saving the planet is too grand a plan. Humanity will be lucky if we can save our own sorry asses, and even that's just temporarily delaying the inevitable.

Look Dawei.. you wrote 'verbatim' ... and I can't find any - any correlation in that article with how the recent celebrity fad to go to rehab can be used to our benefit.
Which brings me to my next point: 8. Keep yourself distant from old and cynical men who only look at everything in negative way and bring you down. Quote:

This thread did not begin with a post saying anything about celebrity rehab. If you took my comment to mean YOUR post, which isn't even adjacent, then you're paranoid as well as prone to floor the accelerator of your mouth without engaging the gear of your brain.

The first post, the thread starting post - it's cropped up on a lot of forums. Looks like DaWei's soaking up the flames for the mystery cross-poster through. Very generous of you, DaWei
Not sure how you're doing it though. Must be some kinda weird mind control, or perhaps someone else's lack of it.Oh, oh, just had another world-saving idea: Think up a fairly obvious, essentially unanswerable and vaguely specified question that is likely to illicit a response from most people despite being essentially relevant to no-one, and then simultaneously post it to several separate forum sites. Actually I'm not 100% sure how that saves the world but there must be some point in it, right? Hey, think we could come up with 101 was to destroy the world?

Yes but why did Eric get so hasty about it? I guess he misunderstood, lol.

I guess he's having a bad day or two... or maybe he's secretly a celeb in rehab?
