I guess I just ended up with a really cool high school teacher. He was pretty upfront about the scope of what he was teaching us, straight out telling us you can't go make the next grand theft auto with VB lol... blackjack was probably the best thing we would ever do. So not too many people from my class in high school thought they were going to be making awesome video games and making horrible posts on forums about it lol.

Even after going through college and taking many DirectX and C++ courses, I still can't make the type of games these 16 year olds think 4 people can make in a month, so it is sort of frustrating. I did create a basic networked fps with a group though, but it was definitely no Halo and took extreme dedication and time by all members to complete.
