We used to say that, in the panhandle, the girls undress in Plainview. Last time I was through there, a lot of stuff was boarded up (same for Muleshoe).

I mentioned to a friend of mine, here in NY, that there was a postcard for sale around Muleshoe, when I was a teenager back in the 50's. The woman actually went out and found the postcard, from a collector, and presented it to me, framed. This is a scan of it:
