1400 * 1050 on a 15" (my 2 year old laptop)
1024 * 768 on a 14.1" (new laptop)

Even though my new computer is light years faster than my old computer. I still use my old computer just because of the screen. I've seen those 17" screen on a laptop before and I'm telling you... its just too big.

I'm actually looking for a 1600x1200 LCD screen. I've seen the Dell 17" and I'm pretty impressed. Any recommendations for a screen of this resolution?

My monitor is ran at 1440x900.

I hadn't realized it either. Then again, I haven't been to these forums in over 5 months so I probably would have seen it in my "new threads" and posted anyway .
