Killing/Creating GUI windows

Here's my question:

I currently have a GUI window built in my script. When I hit my "OK" button, my script updates the necessary information in my database and kills the existing GUI window. Right now, I'd like it to update my info and kill the window, then create a brand new window as a Canvas. . Any advice? If you need more information please ask as I don't want to list unnecessary info and confuse people. Thanks!
