I have messed around with many Distros over the years including Gentoo and Slackware, which was a lot of fun. But these days I don't see the point when Ubuntu and Fedora just makes things so easy, and still has all the customization opportunities available if you want to tweak it to your likings.

I prefer Ubuntu, but im usually to darn lazy to do any waiting around so i just throw in a live -cd of knoppix usually.
