Free brainbench certification testing
Brainbench.com is now in their 2nd Annual Bench Games. That means over 500 Brainbench certifications will be available to you at no charge (have to pay for the paper cert if you want one) from November 1 - 15, 2005.
http://www.brainbench.com I've been taking tests all morning, good to see where you stand against others and such. My transcript ID is 5789180 if anyone's interested. |

I recently found this website and it is pretty cool. I think this might be good for people looking for stuff to put on their resume or just to see what your weak and strong areas are. Here is a list of all the tests
http://www.brainbench.com/xml/bb/com...r/alltests.xml They do charge for some of the tests, but some are available for free.

Oh shit! I thought this was just posted and after seeing that most of the exams are NOT free, I was starting to get confused!

A friend of mine is taking an A++ certification class and his instructor showed him the website. He ended telling me about it and It seems cool. Yes most of the tests are not free but some are. I took the C# test and ended up getting low score of 2.9 or something like that.

I did a C++ test through brainbench a couple of years back at prompting of a GF. I even have a certificate around somewhere saying I'm a C++ programmer. For such tests to be relevant, they need to be kept up to date. If the C++ test I went through is any example, they lost relevance about 1995 or so.
During registration, they ask for your email address; give the one you use to capture spam. They nag you fairly regularly about doing other courses, and ignore attempts to unsubscribe. |
