This is confusing me a bit. Why are you attempting this program? How much experience do you actually have with OpenGL? How much experience do you actually have modelling in 3D?

It seems unreasonable and unlikely that such an assignment would be given to a person lacking anywhere near the experience required to complete it. Is this an school assignment, or something else?

We can't teach you but we can guide you to what subjects you need to look into further so you can complete this. But it seems that you want it done for you.

I honestly don't see how anyone could get a project like this out of the blue. Lol. It's an interesting project though, and I will probably have to come back to this after I learn C++ and how to use visual C++ . Maybe someone here can tell me if visual C++ would be helpful with something like this, since I have it downloaded but haven't looked into what it does or how to use it.

You need to read about Scene Graphs. I won't go over what it is again as Dawei has pretty much explained what it does in his post.
