JPEGs in C++
How can I load a jpeg into an bit array or matrix? Are there any libraries out there that you could recommend? I assume it would be too complex to start from scratch.

i've been looking over the jpeglib the past week, but there are so many questions i have about it. is anyone familiar with libjpeg?

You can also try a library like FreeImage or Devil which offers you a single interface to load alot of different formats.
