Post Google Index Error

Well I have a friend who is asking me whats going on with their site and I wish I could help them, so maybe you can help me.

http://www.google.com/search?num=50&...om&btnG=Search

When searching for "Sierra Wines.com" in google the top site that is returned is NOT "SierraWines.com" but is "www.renamon.net"

I've sent Google and email with via one of their forums and they removed the entry (Removed SierraWines.com from any results) for 3 weeks and now it is back and being displayed wrong.

I was wondering if this is a server side issue or if the google bot is just buggy. Thanks for any help.

Well it's more likley that the site hasn't been out in the wild long enough for google to spider to it. You can increse traffic to your site by getting others linking to it, not only will your site get traffic from their sites, but also google will spider to it quickly and more times, which increases the ranking on the search results.

You might want to look into ROR (Resources of a Resource) as well. ROR is a rapidly growing independant XML format for describing any object of your content in a generic fashion, so any search engine can better understand that content. See This Link Here for more information on ROR.

When I click on that link of that search, and click on the renamon.net website it transfers me to sierrawines.com so eitherway what ever traffic clicks on the first entry it will bring you to sierrawines.com
