Best Language for Multi-Threading

Hi,

Can anyone provide me with some advice regarding the best Language to
develop a multi-threaded application under Windows, which will also
utilise Web Services.

Kind Regards,

Java. Multi-threading is very easy is Java, it's cross-platform, and it a good server-side language for web applications!

My choice would be either VB .NET or C#, but its up to you. Web services are a breeze in .NET

Under Vb.net 2003 I have a application working with live data acquired over a web service.

When I activate my application's refresh feature, I am faced with a egg timer.

Is there any reason why this may happen and is using Vb.Net 2005 likely to remedy this or not?

C# has good and easy multithreading capabilities. Webservices are also quite easy to use in C#
