don't you see anything wrong with that? if you want to explore with php mysql then i suggest you download a program which install php, mysql and apache together, something like WAMP or EasyPHP. if i have spare time i can help you out........but if your are doing this for self profiting then count me out......you won't be missing alot.

I'd like to comment that I see nothing wrong with doing things for self profit. Everyone needs to eat, and everyone needs to learn the things they need to do their job. Granted it's one thing to do all the work for someone else to profit off of, but it's another to get them pointed in the right direction.

Granted, this guy's shown little effort to get off of his arse and get the job done, but it also sounds like he's hearing these words for the first time.

<edit> note: as for view and steal I'm taking that to mean view and mimic, not actually copy word for word, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt... for now.

in an business scenario this guy would be the user asking if he can have this or that, so he is asking for some analitical skills, asking how he should go about this, can that be done, then he asking if some can implement it for him(actually threatening to steal it), so basically he asking other people to do his work then he gets the pay, where is the fairness in that...this is as worse as someone asking for his homework to be done.....PICK UP A GOOD BOOK (SEARCH FORUM) AND SIT DOWN AND READ IT.

Oh. SO I am "threatening" to steal it huh. Or asking others to do my work. Funny because I also asked how to do it and how much it would cost to have done. And does it really matter if I can get code from another website. Who knows if that is even bad and why does it matter. If it can be done then i'm sure a lot of sites do it. I actually got a book from the library today after work about PHP so you should probably aplogize for beign an ass. I doubt anyone on this site is going to build a website for me and write all the code that probably takes weeks or months to do.

Well, you know, you got some good responses. It was you who used the word, "steal". If you were joking, perhaps you should have used a smiley. If not, well, you have no gripe coming.

you had quite alot of good response, prior to my last post, from other forum members and my first post, but you did not follow up on that, instead your just asing off. i told you what software you need, IR told you the languages, Pizentios and MBirchmier gave you a link to couple of useful sites and other people have given you some good advice,do the work and when you get stuck on something then let us know, and about before if i sounded a bit rude then my apologyse.
