I've wondered for many, many years why anyone would want a ram drive. It treats the memory as a faster drive, sure, but as a much slower repository for data than RAM, itself. The opposite treatment, a drive as virtual memory, is much more useful. The second gig, of course, relieves you of the need for some virtual memory.

I understand where you're coming from, as I've seen the effects of loading high-res scenery in Fsim, but I stand by my post, and would even upgrade the word, "most", if I could think of an alternative that suited me.
