How to compile with dmc dompile
Hi I'm using dmc compiler, and I need to know how to compile when I'm opening and closing files (e.g. openfile("scores.dat"); )
I heart something like this: C:\ dmc NameOfProgram <scores but is not compiling. I hope you can help me thanks. |

mmm...
I dont mean to be rude but iirc dmc=Ditigal mars C/C++ compiler and it is a pile of poo. It never works properly and does not have a debugger. For the good of your sanitly use MinGW or MSVC++. One last thing, have you ever heard of documentation. Its a great thing and i would advise anyone to get used to using docs properly. If you cant use docs then you will never succeed at programming. ![]() |

If you knew more about programming then me why are you asking for help. A good programmer always reads the documentation before crying for help. People (professors, lecturers, tutors etc) dont like it when you email them stupid questions that you could find the answer to if you got off your lazy ass and did some research. I have been programming for years and I am a CS student. It may be the case that you know more than me but it might not and i dont care. One last point, why are they forcing you to use any tool. Where i go to university they dont care what you use to compile C/C++ with. They never force a tool on us. They usually say this is what we recomend but if you dont like it you can use what you want as long as you get the work done. The person who marks your work does not care if you used notepad or emacs as long as they get it in on time. They dont care if you used gdb or the MS debug tools as long as you get a working program. If you cant use a tool then pay more attention in class where it was probably explained to you. But as your ego is blinding you, you probably did not listen. |

@James: First, you have no say in what Edgar should post. You have no reason to comment on his tools he uses for programming. If you think they suck, fine, but I dont think he cares just chill man!

James may have come across as rude to you, but what he said is correct.
