video streaming
i want to write a program that can stream a video from a webcam. same as how MSN messenger does the job.. can someone guide me to the proper path to take? what should i learn? read? is video streaming a series of images sent or a series of short video's sent?
ive written a program before that extracts .jpegs from a .mjpeg file and sends it to a client who recieves and views the streaming mjpeg movie as a series of packets each containg one jpeg image. im using VS studio.net 2003, windows XP... thanks all. |
