Explain why that's shallow.

You implied that money is the only thing that matters.

Jimbo: Take something you consider wrong. You probably consider slavery wrong. Now if you suggested to people not to own slaves, would you be shallow?

It's GNU/Linux, not just Linux.

No I didn't. Not at all. I said that RMS's "Freedom" religion doesn't matter to those who aren't planning on using the source code for any reason. "XXX doesn't matter" is not the same as "YYY is the only thing that matters."

This is always a very fun debate. What's morally wrong about Windows?

Unfortunately for your argument, if I consider something wrong, I don't do it. I could only slightly care less what other people do, as long as it doesn't have an adverse effect on me. However, I don't like people imposing their beliefs on others without some evidence.

As to the money, I think it's rational to accept (and unreasonable to reject) the fact that money is what makes this world go 'round. Seems the only things you can get for free is air, company, and if you're lucky, love. 'Course, you can find happiness in there too, but that's more of an attitude thing. Clothes, electricity, food, anything else, they all require money.

If you decide to go the cedega route you will have to buy the application. But you can use another version called CedegaCVS where you have to compile and build the project yourself and tyou get teh same thing but wothout a GUI.

http://www.ubuntuforums.org/ Search anything you want on here, liek your hardware. And look at the threads. I have a crpa modem that never works on the latest linux kernels but I managed ot find a guide on their for my exact model. The community is big so there is no doubt someone has the same hardware and has asked about it.
