what's the best php editor out there?
including commercial ones too. because I heard that dreamweaver was good, so I tried it, but was little disappointed that it didn't have a code reformatter |

Yeah, I love the re-formatter in notepad. On the other hand, what the hell would I want a re-formatter for?
Oh, yeah, code from forums I want to run and test.

If I am on Linux I just use Vim but if I am on windows I use Crimson Editor. They work for me.

I use gvim in windows too along with the crimsoneditor, and tried notepad. I was just wandering if anyone came across better ones than them.

I use Dreamweaver just for code (no WYSIWYG, I don't need to be flamed). If I hadn't taken a course that made me use dreamweaver, I would probably be using PHP Designer 2005. Regardless, it's free, and I have tried it out. It seemed pretty good to me
