Just wondered if it has ever been mentioned here that an RSS / System tray alert tool that gives us a bunch of information about threads / posts / users / attachments withing PFO etc would be a good project to undertake.

Maybe im blind and one exists?
maybe im dumb?, Well that's debatable.

In a post yesterday I mentioned my lack of knowledge concerning internet dev., and its true, the lack is there. However thanks to a good friend and colleague my eyes have been opened slightly on this matter and together we developed a tool for a different forum we frequent.

The forum this was produced for is a good forum and I would never put it down, but it is the place my associate likes to hang out, PFO is where I like to do so. Obviously as you say melbolt the rss would need to be adequate and it would need collaboration with PFO bigwigs, but I think this has good potential for the community.
