My apoligies for not posting an introductionary post, please understand that I am very new to this and this is the first forum where I plan to be dedicated to. (Other forums I've been on are just Counter Strike-related in which I was interested in for an extremely short time.) I have read the rules and I once again apoligize for not reading them before my first post. I'll just write a little intro. about myself right now then: I'm currently a student in high school in Toronto. I'm entering Grade 10 next year planning to take Computer Engineering. I have read one book about programming "Visual Basic 6.0 for Dummies". I have been long interested in the field of computer programming and both my parents are experts in languages such as, SQL, Oracle, and Unix-related stuff. Anyway that was a little bit about myself. Regarding Indigno, he is correct, this program has the purpose of synthesizing mouse movements and clicks for Runescape. I have long since stopped playing Runescape, but have thought of this little program as a test of my knowledge. I am not planning to use this to gain an unfair advantage in the game since I have no such interest. Again this is simply a test. If you're still not convinced, search Runescape cheats on google and you will see that there are already plenty of programs I could have used to cheat. Oh, also, for those of you who don't know, Runescape is a web game built on Java, where you simply lead a "cyber life" or something of the sort. I am currently working on coding this myself and I thank you for replying and all of the advice. I will soon post the "skeleton" of my program, for further help.

No offense to any of the programmers here, but VB really isn't many peoples language around here (Correct me if I'm wrong, but thats pretty much the Vibe i've been getting). I'd reccomend going to Cruels.net (If you are really offended by me posting another form, then go ahead and bleep it out or erase this entire message) for this particular question. Cruel.net is completly centered around autoing and other such cheating in VB and Delphi so I'm sure somebody could help ya. G'day to ya, and hope I helped you a bit (and if your looking to really get into programing, bag VB and start learning C++ or another language that doesn't have all the disadvantages that VB does)

Actually I use vb on a regular basis. It's the main language the company I work for uses for windows programming. Most of the programming that gets done at the company I work for is for unix but the windows programming is vb. I am currently trying to get them to switch to C# because vb5 really isn't worth putting on my resume these days.

Hmm... Guess I'm corrected then , but I'm guessing most of the programming that needs to be done in VB is mostly for handling databases and such, and definetly nothing to do with finding colors, lol. Well anyways, g'day to ya'll

If I was writing a quick small app, I might do it in VB. If I was writing an app for win98, I would use vb. Other than helping others with it, I never use it anymore.

So what are you exactly trying to convey? That I should put a hold on the project until i finish reading some other book about C, C+, or C++, and then start again.

P.S. Sorry for not posting the coding yet, I just haven't really had much free time in the past few days.

If you find a book about C+, I'd be interested in hearing about it. Some members here will attempt to dissuade you from using VB (for various reasons, some good), but you may consider that's not an option. That's fine. Go for it. What I'm suggesting is that you ask your question in an understandable way, that you present code that doesn't work as you expect, and ask for help. You may be too busy to do that, it seems. At the same time, you are asking other busy people to take the time to help. Where's the balance in that?

Lol, I guess you're right. Oh, btw, which would you recommend learning C, C+, or C++?
