The Forum heading says nothing about this forum being limited to programming only topics.
But I would like to point out that any LCD monitor below 20 inches is going to be quite portable, you have to remember that these things are a lot lighter and thinner than CRT screens. Also, You may want to consider getting a better power supply than that. If this is really designed to be a portable
desktop then the power drain doesn't really matter and you should go ahead and get a decent one.
Also remember, that because the case is so thin, you're going to have a hard time getting full size drives to fit in there, and if you decide to go with mini ones, you will have to order slimline/ 2.5 inch to IDE converters.
Another thing to consider is that you will have to buy a low power/ low heat processor, due to the fact that the heatsink for that thing will have to be small.
I suggest something like this instead:
