Detecting/Blocking Events in External Applications
Hello,
I am a developer and I would like to know if there is some kind of a way to detect when someone clicks a button on an external program. I am working on a kiosk application that I want to detect when someone click a button in an external application. Another thing I would like to know is, is there some kind of a way my program can interface with or connect to internet explorer and either disable menus like Internet Options, Full Screen, etc. (yes, I do know I can use the registry) or detect when someone clicks one of those and then block it somehow. Also, is there some kind of a way I could disable the address bar so that it shows the URL but is grayed out? The reason I am not simply developing my own browser is: A. Some groups like schools or libraries cannot use anything except internet explorer. B. I want the users to think that they are actually in control. C. I'd rather not. |
