ROFL. Looks like he got his ass handed to him in the argument and had nothing to fall back on but name-calling.

Of course you don't. The entire programming environment of Mac OS X is built around objects. And you just don't like them.

I suggest you post in threads that you know what you are talking about. OS X API's are brilliant for the people who know how to use them.

Yes, I do. First of all, I will recommend you these books: Programming in Objective C (assumes no prior knowlwdge of C. Excellent for beginners.
Cocoa programming for Mac OS X Assumes some prior knowledge of C
Cocoa Programming This is the Cocoa Bible. It assumes that you know a little about obj-c.
Learning Cocoa with Objective -C, Second EditionThe official Guide by Apple. Assumes you already know some basic OOP concepts and Objective-C

My advice: Start with Kochan's book (even if you are not a beginner) and continue with Apple's book. When you learn more, The "Learning Cocoa" "monster" (I say that because it is over 1000 pages) is there for you if you need it.

As for Internet references, you can visit Apple's Website, in the specific section about Cocoa. It also has an "Objective -C topic there.

In there you will find an enormous amount of tutorials, information and examples about Objective-C and Cocoa. To save you time to find exactly that you are looking for, there is a book written by apple, that introduces you to Objective C. You can visit the HTML site here, and download the entire book in pdf (available at the top left of the HTML site).

If you know C the language will be easy to learn. If you know C++, objective C will be a piece of cake for you (if you pay attention to memory management chapters - that part differs from any other language and it is very hard, but rewarding).

I hope you will find these things useful.

Cool Beans, Thanks. I would've googled it, but I figured since you were on the topic I'd ask.
