I love words. I have a weird sense of humor. I had written articles for technical magazines and papers for ANSI committees. Seemed like fun to write this weird Asimovian kind of mystery. It was fun. In retrospect, it was a shitty job, though. To be fair to myself, a LOT of the stories in the magazine-to-remain-unnamed are shitty. When I was young they were good. Or maybe I didn't know the difference. I became an accomplished amateur photographer and even made a few bucks at it simply because I loved it. I think I could do the same with writing. I was always so tied up in my career that I didn't have time to futz around for pennies. Maybe I'll give it another shot now that I'm not chasing the almighty buck. I've already tried my hand at painting and digital painting (I'm horrible), crochet and tatting, woodworking, and metal working. I'm even planning on trying procrastination, but I keep putting it off.
