I think the Netherlands deserve to win because 1)Robben is an amazing striker, 2)They wear all orange, 3)Their shirts have collars, unlike most others 4)They seem like a very confused nation to me and deserve to know for certain that they are champions to compensate

Germany. They have a great team this time arround, and they're hosting.

Huh?
Uhuh okay, thanks a lot... Well you're probably right anyway, most people are nice around here, but the politicians are crazy, trying to get us a European consitution.
Thanks for the support, coming from someone from the UK, it's a nice gesture. :p

My son played soccer (here in America) between the ages of 6 and 10. It was a great game at the time and it was a pleasure coaching the young kids. Sportsmanship was valued far above what it was in American football and baseball. He was a top-notch player, scored 40 goals his last year. That year we won the Plano (TX) city championship. The parents ruined it for him, yelling and screaming at him if he ever missed a shot. He walked away.

That's horrible  . I know how it feels, because something similar happened to me, then they asked why I wouldn't come back...

germany do not have a great team at all this world cup, too many new players on the squad. Germany vs Costa Rica although entertaining, showed two of the most unorganized teams I've seen in the world cup... absolutely poor defending.

Argentina have looked the most promising side so far in the world cup. Brazil and England still are yet to prove themselves, but I'm all in it for england despite dodgy play in the past two games, they still got the result, and have one of the best teams on paper.

possibly the most open world cup theres been in a long time, cant wait till the last 16.

And how can Ivory Coast be ROFL'd against? They only just lost to argentina in an awesome game... I expect them to cause some upsets against Holland tomorrow. Its beyond me why Basten decided to leave Klaas Jan Huntelaar at home. :/

That is a shame. I was never very good at soccer when I played (my "best" position was defender), but I do remember the parents were jerks about which kids got to play and how much they played. If a kid didn't do well for a team, the parents were ticked at him and his parents. Happily, my mom and dad weren't in that group of parents, they were just happy to see me play (when I did, heh). I stopped playing when I decided to take up horseback riding, go figure. :p
