network gaming
Me and my freind both have war craft 3 on two seperate computers but they are both plugged into the same router which is plugged into the same modem, and so on. In short, were both connected to the same network. To play a game together over a network do we have to have one computer that runs the game and we run it off of that computer, or do we both have to be running it on the same network, or w/e. Any help would be much apprecitated, Thnx!

I dont have WC3 to make sure, but if it supports LAN gaming (I'd be surprised otherwise) it should have an option for one player to host and other players to join. That's how pretty much all games I've played are... then again, "all games I've played" on a LAN = Starcraft, AoE, and AoE2

If it does have LAN enabled then you should be able to get it to work. Isn't WC3 along the same lines as Diablo II LOD? Although I don't understand your question completely I believe that if one person starts a LAN game anyone can connect to that address and play... I hope that helps. If not sorry.
