Actually, he did not imply that; he stated it quite explicitly (maybe you missed it, which supports his statement). In his first post, he said

Seems pretty clear to me. Sure, there was some additional information you may or may not understand, and you may or may not consider it extraneous, but he clearly answered you in the first statement of his post. Then you come along with a statement like this:
