Windows

Hello all,
I was wondering if anybody has information regarding accessing windows internal resources.

What I mean by this is, I can call Dos interupts to handle commonly used routines, Is there a similiar method in windows for common tasks?

I have "googled" but have nothing on how windows Xp manages its resources, and how (If its possible) I can access them.

The resources I refer to are, for example the way it sets the flag when it crashes, screen resolutions, memory management and thread priorities.

There are applications to alter these values, so these values must be held locally, and can be altered.

Does anybody know ??

Thankyou for reading this..

I believe he mentioned Windows, specifically.

I have done what you suspected before so I read this post quite carefully to make sure that I didn't do it again.
