I was wondering if there is a community code respository for Python. I am looking for something similar to CPAN for Perl.

I don't want to have to rewrite a FTP library when there is already a well tested version already out there. (ie. Perl - Net::FTP)

Nothing that I have ever found specificly for Python, but this is a fun website with a bunch of useless python code www.uselesspython.com I've always enjoyed looking around the site. Also search websites like sourceforge or freshmeat. You can seach by programming language if you wish. Hope that helps

And don't forget to submit any useful things (like an FTP module ) to sigil.org...I put up a code repository for that purpose. B)
