I just recently stumbled upon this http://content.ytmnd.com/content/c/f...7834cc7e14.gif
and it is shocking that something like this was ever possible. What do you guys think? |

Haha that is kind of funny, but at the same time sad.

Question Though, That looks like Windows 98. There has always been a flaw in 98 and that is the fact that there is no security. Meaning even if you have forgotten your password you can just click cancel and it'll log you in. There isn't even file permission since 98 runs on a FAT file system.

When systems go from a situation where they're unconnected (except by sneaker-net) to a situation where they're all accessing a common infrastructure, security issues change. Obviously, for some systems, security needs to be seriously addressed.
It's amusing to realize, however, that a HUGE amount of the information now being transferred is of NO interest to anyone other than the transmitter and (maybe) the recipient. The egocentric nature of people will, apparently, continue to outweigh reality.

It is if you don't connect it to the internet, lock it up in a room that has 10 feet thick walls of concrete, steal, other strong metals. Have a heat sensitive room with weight sensors on the floors. To enter you must provide finger, eye and voice recognition as well as 5 different keys with 10 different codes of 8 numbers/characters or more. So yeah windows can be secure... you might have to have the place around it secure, but it'd still be secure.
Always remember this: There is no system that is secure. No matter what anyone says, with enough time and the right skills any system can be compromised. |

Security can be measured by desire to destroy. There are more people using Windows, therefore it has a larger sample of the world to attack. So therefore if you want to do the most damage, you target Windows.
I know that is only a part, but that is basically my Mac defense. I dont choose to defend Windows by bashing others, but all things considered Windows has taken a lot of hits and if the problem was bad enough things would be different.
