Debugger Needed
 I am trying to learn assembler by running binary( bin) files through a debugger just to see how they work. But I can't find a debugger that will work with a (bin)ary file. Does anybody know of one? :eek: John |

if you are using MS-Windows you can use the debug.exe that is in c:\windows directory (or whereever you installed the os). MS-DOS also has that debugger in the c:\dos directory. debug.exe has been shipped free with every version of MS-DOS and MS-Windows since Bill $$$ was born. I suppose he wants people to debug his operating system for him.
