Hi There Excellent Programmers

Hi there , im a newbie at programming, i was reading off a site, and it said the easiest programming language to start with was C++. I downloaded the compiler off, bloodshed.net . I understand very little of it. And i was wantin to ask you guys, what language would be easiest to start me off, a totall newbie

C++ will be a little harder at first to learn, but if you stick with it....you'll thank your self later.

I may be biased, but for someone just interested in looking at programming, you'd have much more fun learning quick syntax like Python. Rather then spending all your time learning a bloated language like C++ and not seeing the fun of programming.
