What's Programming All About...?

I started programming since 16 and now I am 28.
From DOS to Windows to EPOC/Symbian and back to Windows .NET.

Don't limit yourself to this Programming World.
Think of it, who create that microprocessor with the technician-designed mnemonic code? Who create the Programming Language, and use all the syntax that YOU MUST FOLLOW the way HE or SHE think?!

You can create something, yourself.
Programming Language, is all other peoples work, and these other peoples, are just like you, an entity, in the human community.
Don't praise yourself if you able to do clever code. You are loser to the CREATOR of the programming language you are using.

You may think, "No, I just use the syntax and keyword, but I design the core logic and the way it works, which is language-independent!". Yes, you're, indeed! But what sort of logical flow you are design to your program? Computer, or more specific, microprocessor logic? Yes, you can't deny that. You know, everything is designed by human like you, so, don't take too much to yourself, if you cannot do this and do that, and in this application, in the programming skills.

What a lame troll.

That's like saying race car drivers suck because they didn't build the car with their bare hands. Everyone depends on the achievment of others, no matter what. I believe it was Newton who said, "If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants."

Think of that, again.
If everyone around you and including you, were all in disaster, are you going to use 3G cell-phone to call for emergency, and perhaps, the phone camera to send to CNN for first-hand photo? Are you going to use Intel P4 with MS Win 64-bit to analysis what happenning there and find solution for you? Aren't super computer is fast enough to find all the possibilities? Are you going to survey, with TV, MP3 player, DVD player, and other sort of consumer electronics? What about GPRS, satelletite communication, broadband Internet, and other names that I cannot count on? You are. But what medium they rely on? Microwave? Cable? Natural law?

Think of that, NOW, who create that Microwave, Eletrical Signal, Natural Law!!!
Understand that you're human is enough. Newton nor Edison nor anyone else created those elements, and these elements are those peoples (mostly scientist) RELY ON!

Stop for awhile.
I am just posting the original thread as to comfort those new comer or intermediate as not to upset enough if they cannot master well a programming language. Because that programming language is not ALL in their life. They have other activities and ambition to look for. I said, it may PART of their life, but not ALL.

Two:
1. Human is creating things on top of elements and laws set by this universe.

2. Programming Language is a subset of huge knowledges in this world. Don't be arrogant even if you created another MS Win 64-bit, because like you said, Bill Gates is just creating a thing on top of other man-made thing.

"an entity, in the human community."

That's deep man. Really.

Anyhow, the physics and theory forum is the 2nd door on the left.

Are you advocating that we all reinvent our own wheels? Or that we just credit OOG for his invention in the back of his cave? Does this mean I need to give up my bicycle for skis?

I fail to see the logic behind this...You obviously don't understand a technological system. People create programming language so we don't have keep reinventing the wheel, that would be counter-productive.

And someone so unappreciative of programming language probably doesn't understand it very well
