I am looking for somone that will help me make a MMORPG. I am planning on writting the game in VB or C++. If you would like to help, you will recieve all of the glories of admin.

do it in C++ only because i have a fear of making anything in VB that does more than simple math.

How skilled are you at programming? I don't want to start something and then find out you can't program your way out of a wet paper bag.

Will it use OpenGL or DirectX?
If DirectX, will you use Win32 (I would, since DX isn't portable anyway so you won't cause any harm)?

If you'll be using OpenGL, will it use the GLUT library? And, if you'll use OGL will you use SDL for application set up with SDL_OPENGL with SetVideoMode(); after initializing it with SDL_Init();?

If there will be official servers for massive amounts of players rather than multiple ones, what will be the minimum hardware requirements for the servers and will players be able to submit their own stuff for more official servers for more to join if they fit the specs?

Yeah, I wanna see if you're ready for this. I could probably think up more questions, but I want to see what you're planning first.

though it depends *slightly* on what your trying to do, i believe doing a MMORPG in VB would be a "Very Bad Idea."
