PIC Assembler
Am looking for a good PIC assembler tutorial. I've got some Z80 assembler experience, have all PIC theory/some PIC programming down, but need to know methods of indirect addressing and tricks. Any ideas? Thank you.

Did you know that the traffic controllers in Canada were at one point designed to be controlled by Z80 processors, and I have no reason to believe that has changed any... interesting to think they could do what my old GameBoy can.

http://www.mstracey.btinternet.co.uk...al/picmain.htm i found it to be very helpful tutorial that got me started pretty well. for the record, you can ignore a lot of the declares, because your assembler probably has libraries for all of it. anyway, this will give you the basics of changing banks, doing input and output, timing, and some other things. hope it helps. |
