Online tutorials are all well and good, but if you're serious about VB.NET, I whole-heartedly recommend two books (you can easily find both on Amazon):
- Microsoft Visual Basic Step by Step, by Michael Halvorson
- Wrox Visual Basic 2008 Programmer's Reference, by Rod Stephen
