For those who would like their own types and such to be highlighted in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 do the following.
1. Create "usertype.dat" in notepad in "\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\common7\IDE" directory 2. Add the keywords for highlighting with each on a new line. I use it for the openGL types, it just makes things easier to see. Quote:

Thank you... never knew that. I think I'll add the Windows types to it first off, then see where I go from there.

Or... you could just mosey on over to http://www.wholetomatoe.com and purchase Visual Assist, a really sweet ppiece of software which offers many enhancements to MSVS's source code completion and highlighting.
