Hello
I need to know how to create a program that can detect any alert on the system and then play a flash movie once detected.
is this possible?
i managed to find out how to play a flash movie in java and i just cant seem to get around the problem.
help please

What? You need to describe the problem and what solution is needed in more detail. From your description all I can offer is that

Desktop.getDesktop().open( new File("c:/aFolder/textDoc.txt") );

would open the text document located at that destination. I believe the Desktop class has similar functionality for other file types. So if you put a WMP file there it will launch windows media player and play the file.
