I am interested in learning how to use the Adobe Flash program. I believe the latest version is Flash CS3. Can anybody point me in the right direction as to where is the best place to start for a total noobie. Books, downloads etc... Thanks.

The best thing you can do is get Flash 8 or earlier. It has less crap in the way and is easier to learn when starting out.
Also, join a community or a board that helps with flash stuff. I joined a group called the Locklegion and I learned very quickly.
