I created a geolocation script using the data available from ip2nation. I was hoping you guys could visit the main Mimesis page and tell me if it correctly identifies the country you're viewing the site from. Thanks for the feedback.

It says I'm from the United States, but my ISP and I are both in Ottawa. My IP address starts with 65.93 if that helps.

It says United States for pretty much everywhere I check it from. I tried loading it through several proxies found at http://proxy.org/cgi_proxies.shtml

Hmm... the issue may be that the database info is incorrect OR that my script is messing up. I'm going to do some experiments with some arbitrary IP addresses and test them at maxmind.com to see if it functions properly.

Better yet, Sane and Mocker, does the ip2nation main page yield the same result? If so, then I know it's not my script and it's the database that is flawed.

OK I forgot to add a break; statement in there. It SHOULD work now. It was yielding US for everything because it was returning the US code since the searching was being performed incorrectly, and the US is the last country code in the database.

It says I'm visiting from Vietnam (I'm not). The ip2nation page gets it right, and says I'm in Canada, so it looks like you've still got a bit of work to do on it, grim. good luck.
