There are a coupel colleges that have it I dont know if yours does. But in High School I was president of a ting called SkillsUSA, and I am now a member at the college I attend. What it is is like a Vo-tech Club. What ever you are majoring in or studying you can compete in contests with other schools all across the nation. I think it is international also, but i dont think it called SkillsUSA in every country that has it. But it is very cool, I competed in the programming, pc repair, networking, and welding categories. I had a blast made new friends, and learned alot of stuff I didnt know. If you win first in a category you can even win prizes like a scholarship, money, and equipment based on the category you placed in, for you individually or even your school. It's a blast to do, it's pretty easy. A couple things about it is you are required to a community project of some type. You can do as many as you like but you are required to do one. Ours was to put at least one computer in every home in our county. We got most of them done bu we started the last semester of school, so we wasn't able to get them all. It was a great experience, and I'm glad I joined. But you should check into it, if you school has it, and if not you should maybe talk to the dean, of the supervisor of the CS department. It is better to have more then one department in it, because you can accomplish alot more, and make friends outside of your major.

See if your college has an ACM chapter and join it.

Internships are a great idea, and see if there's a user group for your OS/programming platform of choice. Or be bold and daring and get some non-coding related extracurriculars.

ACM and IEEE would be nice to have on a resume.
I agree with Jimbo though, get some outside "hobbies"... unless you really want to be surrounded with technical stuff all day long.
