How can I do scrolling images?
Hi,
I'm looking into a project at work where we would like to display an image in the web browser and allow the user to use the mouse to scroll to see different parts of the image. Basically, I need to provide the basic scrolling function you see in Google Maps. Personally, we'd like to use JSP so does anyone know where I can find more information about how to do this? I've searched the web but I can't find anything on the specifics of the task. |

I would suggest using Flash. The tutorials provided with the application itself should more than suffice to get you up and running with such an effect. You can even incorporate use of the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

I'd use Javascript, that way they dont need to have Flash Installed to see it.
