PHP/MySQL Programmer
Hey guys, well I have posted a few requests in here and gotten some great response. And I thought I would throw one more at you guys. Here it is...
I am the CEO, owner of a website called VanTrillia.com our main target is players in an online game called Outwar.com And since our start in the beginning of March we have grown extraordinarily fast and the projects have now exceeded the amount of what we can currently handle. We offer a form of payment a little unlike normal companies, since we are a new group we have suck or money into hosting and other needs. We offer our coders a seat int he board of directors in which they have a say in what goes on in the site and what happens to it and also there own ad space for whatever they would like to advertise. We are currently switching our advertising program from google adsese to adbrite.com And with the new revenue we take in we have made a list of what needs to be acquired. Then the excess will go to our staff. We have come here looking for a php and MySQL programmer, he/she would be either given pieces of codes or given projects to start from scratch. We have many talented programmers here also helping. Some projects might include a new design with log-in system and message center. And a few projects that require user interaction and updating information from another site. If interested or would like more information please sue these forms of communication: E-mail: Admin@VanTrillia.com AIM: VanTrillia ~VanTrillia Staff |

Are you suggesting that I could make some bucks by suing those forms of communication?
Let me give you some unsolicited advice which is going to piss you off: The initials, CEO, do not unduly impress the kind of people that you probably need. On the other hand, your facility with the language you are using (even if it isn't your first language) will have some bearing, as will your ability to operate a spell-checker. Now, I realize that a spell-checker will not catch all the mistakes. That's why I would suggest that you also use a grammar checker and a real, live proof-reader. Your appeal tells me plainly that you can't pay a professional what that professional is worth. That is not a universal killer, however. There is a time in one's life to take risks and reap the results, good or bad. The catch is that a truly good performer needs to try to pick the most potentially profitable risk. That judgement is probably going to include an assessment of the 'CEO' and the organization. On the other hand, the CEO is taking a risk, in that there will be a veritable flood of takers, many of whom will be virtually useless. The CEO will no doubt judge them by essentially the same criteria. The investors would hope so, anyway.
