Website Making with html
Hello, ive been taking some tutorials on html to make my own website, and im wandering how to post the website online, with an adress and everything. And i dont want to use those softwares like freewebs, or something else.
I know how to code the site, u make the code in notepad, u save it, drag it to ur deskop, then u open it, and it will open a website like page. I just dont know how to post it online with a real adress that u can access. |

first, you'll need a domain name. Just search up "domain registars", it will come up with several sites that you can buy a domain from. The you'll ether need your own web server (running apache or IIS or something of the like), or you can buy hosting from a company (there are hundreds of companies that offer hosting out there).

The way it will probably work is that they will give you ftp access to your storage space, and you can modify whatever files you want and upload them to your area as often as you want. |

Check out a lot of hosts before you buy. Don't always go for the cheapest. The webhosting market is huge, so hosting is gettign cheaper and cheaper to produce. But as things get cheaper, they tend to be lesser quality. Read reviews on what the best hosts are. Findout if you want to buy a domain with a hosting package, or whether you are going to just buy them seperate and redirect them. Search before you buy
