Thanks for the heads up, i'll compile FireFox when i have some time.
But its looking good, i tested the beta version of Firefox 1.5 on windows a while back and it had some nice changes and improvements.

I don't like the bigger context menu in Firefox 1.5, the rest looks and acts 99% the same, or so it seems.

When you get a 404 it displays it as a html page now, instead of that god damn annoying popup message box.

There are also various tweaks to Gecko and general speedyuppiness.

Yeah but the current speed tweaks seem to have a few issues with quite a number of mainstream sites, I noticed OpenSSL certificates and TomCat state cookies (the famous Java.NullPointer exception thingy), and also the tweaked-out HTTP pipelining settings can kill ageing routers and has a higher risk of corrupted downloads or breaking connections. I'm sticking with 1.0.7 for now, until they sort through the remaining issues or provide an (easy) option to turn them OFF.
