Music splicing and other audio tools
Does anyone know any tools (preferrably free, but commercial products are good as well) which allows you to split and splice music together, have two plus tracks playing concurrently and allowing to adjust the volume of both tracks for effect, etc.? I need something like this for a theater project I have to do at school. If anyone could help, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thank you both very much. Audacity seemed to be just what I was looking for. I will check out wavepad as well. Thanks again.

I tried many audio tools, and IMHO, Steinberg WaveLab is the best one. SoundForge is also good...
