With only HTML it is not possible, unless you wanted to make small gif file say 1px X 1px that changed differnt colors and wanted to use that as your background set with HTML

You can do it really easily with javascript.

This should give you the basic idea:

Here's a tip: don't do it - it'll annoy the hell out of everyone...

Epilectic (sp?) seizures usually don't do much for repeat visits.

I can think of a number of ways to do this, however, but doing it only in html the easiest way is to create a 1x1px gif that runs the colors you want.
Some of the issues have been addressed here.

If it wasn't a problem, there are some great javascripts out there that would help you, just do a google.

Siezure prone users may not like it, but, as long as you make this blinking bachground real slow, like maybe that it changes colors every 5-10 seconds, you won't really have that problem.

I would suggest not doing it at all, but I know what it was like for me. Every thought had to be done at least once to try to see if it could be.

I hope this all helps
Mike
