Rent a movie.

Sometimes I go to the movie store 'cause I want to see a movie but I just don't know which to pick so I end up by renting none. I bet a lot of you have the same problem at times, manly because I've seen most movies my friends suggest either 'cause I watched it with them, or 'cause they said something like "YOU'VE GOTTA SEE THIS MOVIE" and therefor I see it...

Anywayz (see.. I'm cool! I used a "z" ) which movie d'ya recomend? And why? Let's build up a small database, so that when one of us has a movie-renting-block we can come here to choose something. You don't have to say which is your favorite movie.. Just one that you think it's cool and worth seeing. Maybe the last one you saw...

Anywayz (I've done it again! ), I suggest Closer with Nattalie Portman! \o/ Mainly 'cause I love Nattalie Portman (in a movie-fan-way, not in a I'm-gonna-stalk-her-till-I-can-rape-her-way) but also 'cause it has a great story to which I fully identify myself with. Basicly all characters are in relashionships that don't make them feal as they should so naughty thoughts take place. It has a great story so it's defenetly worth seeing. It's also a great shag-movie.

If you want to check it at IMDB the link is: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0376541/

Cheers!

Rent: Chopping Mall. Stupidest/funniest horror flick ever.

I'll recommend a movie to stay away from. Do not rent K-Pax. I'd rather study Qbasic on a friday/saturday night than see that movie again.

Four Rooms (Quentin Terentino) was kinda cool. The last 10 seconds of the film were the best .

"The Sixth Sense" was definitely cool.

"Mars Attacks"-- you either love it, or you hate it! I liked it, but when someone tells me they thought it was total crap, I can definitely relate to their point of view, because it was pretty damned silly.

Don't see Constantine.. it is basically as bad as Keanu Reeves' acting abilities.

Dont see "Unbreakable", that was pitiful. Good cast, awful story.

I (inset "love" emote here) Natalie Portman. But I really suggest "Anti-Trust" It's a good geek film. It's about a really good programmer who goes to work for a Bill Gate-ish like company called Nurv. They are trying to create a media delivery system that will unite all media, called SYNAPSE. Things turn out bad..

It's a great movie, plus it's got Rachel Leigh Cook in it!

Also go rent 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' It's wonderfully witty and amazingly stupid.

stevangs, I can't relate with most of what you said (except for the terentino movie which I haven't seen. (BTW, I hated mars attacks! :p)

Movie to steer away from: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - It's defenetly one of the worse movies I've ever seen! And I think that the score of 5.4/10 is tottaly over rated. I can't believe that Sean Connery turned down Lord of the Rings but was capable of playing this piece of bull-crap. I bet he's still banging his head against the wall for this...

Great geekish movie: Hackers- (plus you see Angelina Jolie's titties!), but computer-wise that movie tottaly sucks, but it has really cool soundtrack. I saw it when I was like 12 or 13 or something and it completely blown me away. Now I see it with a notalgic grin...

Great non-geekish movie: Donnie Darko - I can't really explain how and why this movie is great. But the story is genious. It plays around alot with space and time and it's just pure genious. If I say too much I'd end up revealing too much so I just suggest you spend a coulpe of dollars on this movie 'cause you will NOT get dissapointed!

What? You deny liking breasts? I don't choose movies on a tittie-based-rating but It's certanly refreshing to see them! If that was the case Total Recal would win for it's 3 breasted-whore.. lol :p
