What all would I have to know before I would be able to program an operating system installer? File managers, package managers and configuration utilities are more obvious as to what I'll have to learn before I can make one. I have no clue about an os installer. Thanks.
Oh, and I put this in C since I assume that's probnably what I'd use to program it.

all you need to know is the setup of the OS you are working on. as in where are the files suppose to be put and stuff like that i have writen very basic installers using vbscript and its just a matter of knowing were things are suppose to go
