Hi all,
I'm "Silex" (18), UK I work as an IT admin for an engineering company and am looking to build my knowledge (which is rather limited) of programming, i have alot of experience with server side programming, mainly ASP/PHP and alittle .Net Basically I need to start to learn some programming language, as i find more and more, it would be more simple to design the programs i need than find them as obviously i can tailor them for my personal needs and the system we run. Not 100% sure what i'm looking to learn, i've browsed at Visual basic before, but really i havn't delved into it as i havn't had the need, usually the programs that i'm looking to write are "basic" programs, in saying that i'm sure it's not going to be 100% basic for myself at the current level of my knowledge but we'll see how we get on  *lots of knowledge of Networking / Linux/Mac/OS / Hardware (looking at doing cisco networking next year). |
