hey everbody...i'm looking for games and utilities that are open source...and run in windows...partly to sample the power of python...also to study the source...any linx would be helpful

Python isn't exactly a language of choice for most game developers, unfortunatly I do not know of anything off hand, I would recommend that you check http://www.sourceforge.net and maybe they will have something there. Good luck.

There is pygame http://www.pygame.org/ I've scene some fairly sophisticated stuff written with that.
